| Shimmer had a sudden idea, "Sedge, your wings must get tired from beating so fast, want a ride?" she offered, seeing the little bird nod his head she twitched her ear, inviting him to side on it.
Sedge did as he was told and perched on the females ear, "thanks, Shimmer," he whispered, knowing that he was with his sister now. Sedge held on tight for the right, but careful not to dig his claws in.
Shim began at a steady lope, careful to be smooth so that Sedge was comfortable. "Wher are you from Sedge? I've never seen a living Bee Hummingbird before, I've only heard stories from geese. The noisy ones that are brown and white." she said quietly.
Sedge whistled a little laugh as Shimmer described the geese, he was about to answer when they arrived into the den site, two other wolves and a peregrine were there, as well as the raven. He immediately gave a shriek of alarm and swished deep into Shimmers fur, just his tail and part of his beak showing theough the silky white.

| Airis finally stopped circling when they reached what she supposed was the camp. Landing swiftly on the ground next to the brown wolf, she snorted as the hummingbird buried itself in the new she-wolf's fur. Turning to the brown wolf, she dipped her head.
Chase watched the falcon land and then snort at the hummingbird hiding in Shimmer's fur. Then she dipped her head. "Er... hi." He said quietly. "I'm Chase."
"Airis..." She replied, almost whispering. She was not going to be her usual talkative self just yet.
Chase sat, he had to strain his ears to hear the name. "Pretty," He told her.
Airis chuckled. "It means fleet." She walked forwards a little, slowly becoming more comfortable with her new surroundings. She glanced at the hummingbird, who still looked like he was cowering.
"Seems like it should suit you." Chase said, noting that she was looking at the hummingbird somewhat predatorily. He lowered his voice a little. "You aren't thinking about eating him, are you? I don't really know what Peregrines eat..."
Airis came about as close to smiling as she could. "No, we don't eat hummingbirds, especially not brothers or sisters."
Chase sighed in relief. "Okay, then." He remembered something. "You hungry? We caught a deer earlier."
Airis shook her head. "No, thanks, I ate a while ago."
Deciding to head over to Raven to see if she needed to tell them anything,he gestured to his shoulder. "I need to talk to Raven, the alphess. D'you want a ride? Actually, do you want to come at all?"
Airis hopped onto his shoulder. Instantly, she felt a severe sense of deja-vu, like they'd been best friends in a past life or something. By the way Chase shifted his weight suddenly, she could tell he had felt the same thing.

| Shimmer pushed her shoulders apart, moving the fur away from Sedge, "it's OK, she won't eat you," she whispered.
Sedge unburied himself and took a deep breath, "fine, but if she does, it's on you," he buzzed his wings a little, "yum," he whispered, looking at some honeysuckle then rushing over to drink the sweet nectar.

| Nightingale stayed close to the bushes as she watched the clearing of the elk-herd, yet she stayed away. This wasn't her territory, and by the look that bird gave her in the trees she could tell that she probably was not welcomed either. She heard the rustle of wings taking flight as the bird flew closer. Her eyes flew from the elk to the bird then the elk and back again to the bird, she crouched lower in her hiding place just as the bird began to speak.
"Your in a pack's territory.." he said in a annoyed yet serious tone. His beaty reddish black eyes trained on the wolf who kind of resembled a black Nightingale such as himself. Black fur with white around her neck. Yet he had white near his eyes in a more uncommon design. "If you don't leave I will have to alert the other birds and the wolves as well." his eyes narrowed and his beak snapped in her direction.
She rolled her eyes and said, "Cool it Maxcellus I'm just hungry." her eyes went back to the elk and her stomach seemed to lurch towards their delicious scent. It almost made her mouth water, she sniffed the air slowly and then looked back at Maxcellus with pleading eyes.
Maxcellus looked at his traveling companion, "It is wrong. You and I both know it, now come." his wings rustled against the sudden wind and he flew to a lower branch once again and then onto the ground. His wings folded against his sides and he began to walk in the opposite direction of the elk. He chuckled her pup-like whine. "Oh act your age."
Nightingale whined low and then turned ears flat against her head and she walked after him wishing she could throw a fit but knowing it would make him angry and he might peck at her flanks again. It hurt when he did that... She watched him as he wings folded to his sides and he told her to act her age. Her eyes took a annoyed look and she walked with her head low wondering if they will encounter the Alpha or a pack member maybe...
